Taiji
The Chinese martial art of Taiji is one of the so-called internal martial art styles. It combines the martial art elements of the Shaolin monastery with Taoist philosophy. In addition to the ideas of softness, withdrawal and non-violence, the goals of Taoism are good health and longevity. The complexity and scope of Taiji enables its effects in the field of martial art, philosophy and health. Many Taiji branches often emphasize just one of these fields. In fact, however, all these fields are inseparably interconnected.
